Lichess vs chess.com ratings, from people who play on both
The same player has two different numbers. These tables show how they line up, per time control, from people who link both accounts. No guesses from forum threads: every row is real people, and bands with fewer than 10 are hidden.

Estimate the other site's rating
Type a rating to see the estimate.
The estimate uses the straight line. Its error is widest at the ends of the range, where few people play.
Method
I collected people who link their chess.com profile from their Lichess profile, from the member lists of 64 public Lichess teams, plus players who verified both accounts on Club Ladder with a code in each profile. Each person counts once per time control, only when both ratings are settled (not provisional) and both pools have at least 20 games.
Ratings are re-read weekly. Each Lichess band is 200 points wide; I show the chess.com median and the middle half (25th to 75th percentile). Time controls aren't cut at the same minutes on the two sites, so blitz isn't exactly blitz.
Play on both sites? Add your two accounts with a code in each profile and the tables get better for everyone.
Questions
Is chess.com rating lower than Lichess?
For most club players, yes. In blitz the gap is a few hundred points below 1800 on Lichess and shrinks above it; around 2200 the two sites agree, and above that chess.com runs higher. The tables below give the numbers by band.
Why do the sites differ?
Both use Glicko-style systems, but each pool's numbers only mean something against the other players in that pool. Different starting ratings (1500 on Lichess, lower on chess.com), different player populations and different time control cut-offs move the whole scale.
Can I convert my rating exactly?
No. People with the same Lichess rating spread out by a couple of hundred points on chess.com. The calculator gives the typical value and the usual range.
